The intensity and heat around the renaming of the NTR Health University to YSR Health University is not over yet. Prominent personalities reacting to the issue is making the issue still stay in the headlines. Recently, NTR's son Nandamuri Balakrishna gave a strong reaction to the development.
Actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna's reaction is receiving strong responses from the ruling party. Various leaders hit back at Balayya Babu. The likes of Tourism Minister Roja and Ambati Rambabu lashed out at the Nandamuri hero on the issue. The strong response from the ruling party is continuing.
Now it's the turn of YSRCP MLC Mohamamd Iqbal to react to Balakrishna's comments. Talking about the Hindupur MLA's mental state, the MLC said he got a certificate saying that his mental state is not good and a person having such a certificate cannot serve as an MLA.
After surprising everyone with his comments, the MLC went on to say that, he will move the Election Commission of India and court against Nandamuri Balakrishna on his certificate.
The MLC observed that due to YSR, Balakrishna is able to sustain in politics and movies and he has to thank the former Chief Minister for this. He stressed the point that with the help of YSR, Balakrishna came out of the cases without any issues.
He said he will complain against Nandamuri Balakrishna. But the MLC is forgetting one thing that, if the Election Commission cancels Balakrishna's recognition based on his complaint, it will also affect YSR's name. Without any doubt, the Telugu Desam Party will launch a counter-attack and ask why YSR misused his power despite knowing that Balakrishna was wrong on the issue.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna and no one can say if he will let the MLC complain against Balayya Babu.
When the movie ticket rates issue popped up, former Cinematography Minister Perni Nani said how he was directed by Jagan to make sure that Balakrishna's Akhanda will not face any issues during the release. It is interesting to see how the issue will turn out in the coming days.
