When We Are Fighting COVID-19,Some People Are Spreading Other Viruses: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Non Aligned Movement Summit through video conferencing said that when the entire world is busy fighting the novel coronavirus, some people are spreading other viruses.
Though Narendra Modi did not mention the name of the country, he termed these viruses as terrorism and said that those people are trying to divide communities and countries.
"To counter Covid-19 we've promoted coordination in our immediate neighbourhood and we're organising online training to share India's medical expertise with many others.Despite our own needs we've ensured medical supplies to over 123 partner countries," Narendra Modi said.
Terror activities in Pakistan were rising in Pakistan as more than 12 encounters took place in Jammu Kashmir valley in just one month where 22 Jawans were martyred. In a recent encounter that happened on the 3rd of this month, five jawans including two CRPF men were martyred.
The positive cases of the novel coronavirus in India stood at 46,433 in the country with India reporting 3,900 fresh cases in the past 24 hours which is the highest single day spike ever since the outbreak started.
