Modi announces 75 Vande Bharat Trains

Having achieved Independence from the British Colonial Rule in 1947, India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Independence Day today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the celebrations.

The Prime Minister had announced 75 Vande Bharat trains on the occasion that aims at connecting each and every corner of the country.

During his speech, Narendra Modi said, like the UDAN scheme connects the far areas in the country through flights, the Vande Bharat Trains also connect the far areas.

In the 75 weeks of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the Vande Bharat Trains will connect all the corners of the country, ths Prime Minister said.

The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is a program launched by the Union Government to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Independence Day.

The Vande Bharat Trains that run at semi high speed have the features to give a comfort of travelling for the passengers along with their safety.

The Trains will also have other features like CCTV, bio toilet, automatic doors which will be completely air-conditioned.
