Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 80,000 crore financial package for Jammu & Kashmir to ensure allround development.
Modi claimed he would like to follow the three mantra (Social Consciousness & Cultural Values, Democracy & Humanity) suggested by former PM Vajpayee as they are pillars for development in Kashmir. He opined India is incomplete without Kashmir.
The NDA Supremo wished the Special Package will turn Jammu & Kashmir into a modern, prosperous and progressive state.
Congress described the package announced by BJP as a eye-wash. Particularly, It pointed out that only Rs 8,000 crore was allotted for relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected Kashmir against Rs 44,000 crore sought by the State Government.
