Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu got the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Several issues including Drought situation, Special Status, Special Package, Revenue Deficit, Polavaram and Funds for AP Capital have been discussed.
At one stage, Modi heaped praises on Naidu saying, 'We are friends. You have been working hard. You have the experience. Let's continue to work together'.
Stating that he is aware of how much sensitive the issue of Special Status has been, Modi asked Naidu not to worry about it and assured him that a solution acceptable for everyone can be reached.
In a series of Tweets, Narendra Modi said Chandrababu briefed him on the drought relief measures taken up by AP Government. He lauded AP aiming 20 lakh hectares for micro-irrigation. He also appreciated the presentation given by CBN on AP's usage of technology to get real-time updates on water and agriculture from the ground.
