What for Modi sent Letter to Yuvraj Singh?

Update: 2017-09-01 13:13 GMT
Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh received an appreciation letter from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Why is it so? The All-Rounder wasn't even part of the Team India squad during the ongoing Sri Lankan Tour. He was dropped after the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. That's why everyone is curious to know what made PM send a letter to Yuvraj at this point of time.

Narendra Moi lauded the charity work of Yuvraj Singh's YouWeCan Foundation. 'It's an absolute honor & privilege for all of us here at Youwecan to receive such an encouraging letter from Hon'ble Shri @narendramodi ji himself. We at @youwecan strongly believe that each one of us together can change the world and it's not what you've got, its what you use that makes a difference. There is no greater reward than making someone else's life better and making a difference in the world,' says the cricketer.

YouWeCan Foundation has been creating awareness among people about the life-threatening disease Cancer. Yuvraj himself is a cancer survivor and he floated this foundation to help others.
