Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad demanded Centre to verify the 'educational qualifications' of Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani, just alike it has done in the case of former Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar.
Speaking to reporters, Prahlad reminded there is necessity to carry out a probe into Smriti Irani's fake degree allegations. At the same time, He supported another Union Minister Sushma Swaraj who helped former IPL Chairman Lalit Modi obtain travel documents citing humanitarian grounds and asked media not to hype the matter too much. On the Black Money issue, He opined black money stashed in India is much more than that in foreign countries and told centre is making efforts to bring back the ill-gotten money in Swiss Banks.
Prahlad is the vice-president of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation (AIFPSDF). He is the younger brother of Indian PM.
