IPL To Be Held In October Without Audience?

Update: 2020-05-19 14:50 GMT
While announcing the new guidelines of lockdown 4.0, the Central government has given some relaxations and allowed stadiums to function. This opened a window for the postponed IPL to be held later in the year.

"Sports complexes and stadia will be permitted to open; however, spectators will not be allowed," the Government said.

On the financial side, if IPL is cancelled for this year, the BCCI  would lead to a loss of around Rs 4,000 crore. The cricketers even accepted to play in the empty stadium.

However, IPL is meant for unlimited entertainment and fans presence is significant in this league. The fans reach to cheer for their favourite teams and players gives high josh to the players while playing the game.

Meanwhile, most of the people say that IPL should be conducted in October this year. If IPL will be conducted without any spectators then it will be a different game, unlike all other seasons.
