Update: 2016-11-02 11:59 GMT
TRS Nizamabad MP K Kavitha shared some interesting things about her personal life and political career in a recent interview. Have a look at some of the Q&As...

How it feels to be an MP & influential Leader in T-Politics: I consider myself as one of the luckiest. I was born in a family which encourages women to scale new heights. I'm an independent woman.

Most Memorable Moment: Birth of my first child (son)e.

Most Painful Moment: Grandmom's death pained Me a lot. Even I had to bear so much of pain when Dad KCR risked his life with fast-unto-death.

Entry into Politics: I stepped out for the first time when KCR resigned to his post in December 2006. That's when the situation in Telangana villages influenced me a lot.

When asked if KCR compromised with CBN in cash-for-vote case, Kavitha explained, 'What would we gain from compromising with our opponent? KCR would never indulge in such backdoor stuff!'.

On the KCR-Kodandaram rift, The MP replied: 'Actually, Prof.Kodandaram was never a TRS Member. It was KCR who made him JAC Chairman. We worked together during the Telangana Government. Once after state was formed, Its up to the individuals and organization to decide the path they have to travel. Whether appointment was given to Kodandaram or not isn't a question at all. What matters is whether or not Govt solved the problems of the people. We have been addressing the issues raised by Prof.Kodandaram as much as we can. If he keeps criticizing like a politician, Then it would only damage his reputation. Why do we have rivalry with Kodandaram? He is our friend, if he thinks otherwise its up to him'.
