MP says she is Kali Worshiper But Makes Objectionable Comments!

When everyone is trying to forget the infamous row involving Nupur Sharma, India was hit by another controversy in the form of the Kaali poster. The issue had attracted a wide range of attention from everyone. Thanks to the intervention of the Indian High Commission, the Aga Khan Museum said the problematic documentary will not be screened.

However, the issue is not sorted out back in India and even turned political. West Bengal MP Mahua Moitra, who represents the ruling Trinamool Congress landed in an unwanted controversy with her comments on the Hindu goddess Kali. This made her face a few FIRs.

Surprisingly, the TMC stayed away from the controversy and said that it has nothing to do with the comments made by the MP. In a tweet, the ruling outfit said that the MP's comments don't reflect the party's ideology.

After the cases were filed, the MP said that she is a Kali worshipper and she is not afraid of anyone or anything. She openly dared the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party to bring it on.

It is strange on the TMC MP's part. On one side, she says she is a Kali worshipper and on the other side, the MP makes objectionable comments against Goddess. She said, in her opinion, Kali is a meat-eating deity who accepts liquor.
