Mr India Bodybuilder succumbs to Covid-19 at 34

The second wave of Coronavirus continues to haunt India. More and more people are getting infected with the virus and breathing their last battling the highly contagious disease.

The novel Coronavirus, which has claimed the life of more than two lakh people in India has resulted in International bodybuilder and Mr. India fame Jagdish Lad, losing his life.

The 34-year-old belongs to the Navi Mumbai area but works in Baroda city in Gujarat. He got a job in Baroda at a gym. But, due to the lockdown effect, he faced severe financial issues.

Jagdish Lad had tested positive for Covid-19 and got himself admitted to a hospital. Some media reports have attributed the lack of proper treatment for Covid-19, to his death.

His financial difficulties had reached a level that he was in a position to not be able to pay the house rent too. Seeing his struggles, the owner of his house in Baroda allowed the bodybuilder to vacate the place without paying the rent.

It has been widely reported that Jagdish Lad’s wife was also infected with Covid-19. His family members were shocked after knowing the sad news of the demise of Jagdish Lad.

Jagdish had bagged a Silver Medal and Gold Medal in the World Championship and Mr. India competition respectively. At several state-level competitions, he represented Maharashtra and won several medals.
