Update: 2014-05-31 09:32 GMT
Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has been announced as YSR Congress party's Parliamentary leader on Saturday.

All the YSRC MPs except SPY Reddy who joined TDP attending the meeting at Jagan's Lotus Pond residence. They opined it would be nice if senior leader Mekapati could lead them in Parliament.

Actually, YS Jagan thought of making Vijayamma as YSRC Parliamentary leader. But, the shocking defeat of YSR Widow in the recent polls played the spoilsport.

In 2014 Polls, YSR Congress won 67 MLA (out of 175) and 8 Lok Sabha (out of 25) seats in Seemandhra. Whereas the party made it presence felt in Telangana by bagging 3 MLA (out of 119) and 1 Lok Sabha (out of 17).
