Kapu leader Mudragada Padmabanaham has lashed out at TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu over his 'police raj' remarks on the ongoing protests in Amaravati. He also accused Babu that he also suppressed the Kapu agitation during the TDP regime.

Mudragada wrote an open letter to Naidu on his remarks. In the letter, the Kapu leader said, "After diluting the police system in State when in power, you (Naidu) have threatened people to send them behind bars for taking any movement including that for Special Category Status and harassed not only Kapus but also various sections of people by filing false cases. Are you unaware of your administration? You and your scion had humiliated our entire family members. Apart from hitting with lathis, your government put us in a small hospital room for 14 days and gave us sleepless nights by deploying six police personnel in the same room".

Mudgarada went on to say that Naidu always has the double standards starting with backstabbing his father-in-law, TDP founder late N.T.Rama Rao and garlanding his portraits during the election campaign.

"Naidu is the one who spoiled the entire Police system and used the police force on his wish. Ordering for lathi charge and attacking the protesters at the time of protests at the time of special status demand and filing false cases and frightening people is what we saw in Naidu's regime," he added
