India's richest man and Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has now emerged as world's sixth-richest person by surpassing Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk and Google Co-Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Mukesh Ambani, whose wealth surpassed Berkshire Hathaway's CEO Warren Buffett last week, is now worth $72.4 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
After global leaders like Facebook, Silver Lake Partners, General Atlantic and others invested in into its digital assets unit Jio, Ambani's wealth jump massively. Also, Reliance share price has rallied from 867.43 in March to 1948.35 in July.
With $72.4 billion, Mukesh is placed at the sixth position while Jeff Bezos ($181 bn), Bill Gates ($115 bn), Bernard Arnault ($94.5 bn), Mark Zuckerberg ($90.8 bn) and Steve Ballmer ($74.6 bn) took away first five positions.
