Mukkattu Sebastian, an Indian businessman-based in Dubai, announced a cash reward of Rs 5 million for Olympic Silver Medalist PV Sindhu. For Wrestler Sakshi Malik, He offered to pay Rs 2.5 million after she bagged the Bronze Medal at the ongoing Olympics.
Stating that he doesn't fall in the super-rich category, Mr.Sebastian claimed the cash reward he announced is just an attempt to honor the two champions who saved the face of India at Rio. He also announced Rs 10 million will be awarded to the Indian Athlete who bags the Gold medal at Rio Olympics. The reward will be offered to the medalists at an event to be held in Kochi.
Mukkattu Sebastian hails from Kottayam district in Kerala. He owns Autobahn Car Rentals in Bengaluru and Mukkadan Plantations in Kerala.
