My Brick My Amaravati shatters Guinness Record

AP Government launched 'My Brick - My Amaravati' initiative to make people a part of the proposed new capital Amaravathi. This innovative idea which facilitates people across the World to contribute to the capital by spending Rs 10 for a single Brick has turned out to be hugely successful.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani took up the task of achieving Guinness Record through 'My Brick - My Amaravati'. What better gift can Chandrababu Naidu expect from his MP on Diwali?

Kesineni Nani has given a call to the people to contribute for AP Capital as much as they can between the period 9 AM on Tuesday to 9 AM on Wednesday. He launched the mammoth task by purchasing the first brick on Tuesday. The response for the appeal made by the MP is unbelievable. By 3 PM, About 50,000 people have contributed for the new capital. The count touched 1,21,414-mark by 9 PM.

As of now, Chinese NGO holds the Guinness Record for highest transactions in a single day. With 'My Brick - My Amaravati', Telugu People have shattered the record in just 11 hours. Kesineni Nani is hopeful of achieving 2 lakh-mark by Wednesday 9 AM.
