Telugu Association of North America (TANA) President Satish Vemana denied his organization having any association with either Kishan Modugumudi or his wife Chandrakala who operated Chicago Sex Racket. 'TANA is the oldest, largest and most reputed Telugu Association in USA. We never used the services of Kishan and Chandrakala to hire Telugu Artistes for any of our events. Appalled at the Prostitution Racket operated by the couple. We appeal FBI to conduct an in-depth investigation and prosecute those who defamed Telugu Community in USA. Investigative Agencies will have our complete support to ensure such rackets are rooted out,' he assured.

On May 8th this year, The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had contacted Satish Vemana to seek his clarification over a TANA letterhead with his signature. Satish then informed that his signature was forged by Kishan & Co.,

Investigative Officer Brian Grinn informed TANA Chief about the forged letterheads of several Telugu Associations in USA submitted to the American Consulate by Kishan Modugumudi for obtaining visas for Celebs in fraudulent manner. A clarification was sought from Presidents of several other Telugu Associations regarding the invitations for events.
