Mystery behind missing AIADMK MLAs

Update: 2017-02-10 11:50 GMT
Madras High Court Today sought a report on the allegations of 'forced captivity' of 120 AIADMK MLAs by VK Sasikala Natarajan. It is being reported that Tamil Nadu DGP has gone to the Beach Resort located at a distance of 80 kms away from Chennai. Contrary to the claims of Panneerselvam's camp, AIADMK MLAs staying at the resort since Wednesday night have made it clear that Sasikala has neither abducted them nor mounted any sort of pressure.

Perundurai MLA ND Venkadachalam: 'We aren't kids to be abducted. All of us are free to do whatever we want. We just wait for Governor's Invitation'.

Kattumannarkoil MLA N Murugumaran: 'No scope for intimidation or abduction. Media reports were just a cooked-up stories. I wasn't reachable on the phone just because I myself switched off it to avoid unnecessary calls'.

Giduyatham Legislator Jayanti Padmanabhan clarified there is no truth in the reports that she is being held captive forcibly.

Another key MLA CR Saraswathy alleges her mobile number was distributed by O Panneerselvam's Camp to hundreds of people and hence she kept herself unreachable. She also fears there is threat to her life from OPS Camp.
