Andhra Pradesh BJP leader and Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has decided to adopt a cyclone-affected village in Andhra Pradesh.The minister on Thursday announced that he and his family members will adopt Chepalupada village and undertake rebuilding work.
Venkiah Naidu said they were ready to spend any amount of money required for reconstruction of the village and promised that he will provide Rs.25 lakh to the village from the MP Local Area Development Fund.
Other side a big candles rally was conducted at R.K.Beach in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday evening and Venkaiah participated along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and state ministers Narayana and Mrunalini.Speaking on the occasion venkaiah said that Central government is ready to help Vizag on the hard times and assured that they will help the city until it gets earlier image.
Officials, employees and people in large number participated with candles in their hands. Film director K.Raghavendra Rao and producer Daggubati Suresh also participated in the event.
