Union Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao on Sunday hinted that he would be quitting Congress to end his 47-year-old association with the National party. He will be joining TDP soon to contest from Eluru Lok Sabha constituency again as majority of his followers were in favour of this move.
However, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has got a stiff opposition as TDP leader Maganti Babu who wishes to be Eluru Lok Sabha candidate is against party inviting the the 5-time MP.
Kavuri maintained he has no objection if Maganti Babu is sure to win the Lok Sabha seat and TDP leadership offers him the ticket. Indirectly, He hinted Mr. Maganti will get defeated.
Chandrababu Naidu has given indications that Kavuri will be Eluru Lok Sabha candidate and Maganti Babu will be Kaikalur Assembly candidate.
