Naidu speaks on after-effects of AP Division!

Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has given assurance on necessary support to Andhra Pradesh from Centre for speedy development.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Naidu told Centre has release Rs 250 crore to AP even before March 31st. He claimed to have identified major issues in places like Vijayawada and Guntur where the new capital is being built. He informed about the sanction of Rs 461 crore for underground sewage system in Vijayawada.

Venkaiah Naidu reiterated that division of AP took place without addressing the key issues. He, however, went on to say Centre is ready to help AP and all the promises of AP Reorganisation Act will be fulfilled in phased manner. Naidu informs Centre approved Railway Zone to AP and considering setting up Steel Plant in Kadapa.

The Union Minister stated Telugu States have paid the price for bifurcation and also failed to utilize even the Central Funds between the period 2013-15.
