Nandamuri Family pays rich tribute to NTR

Nandamuri Family, TDP Leaders, Workers and People who admire NT Rama Rao have paid rich tributes to him on his 21st Death Anniversary (January 18th). AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Lakshmi Parvathi, Harikrishna, Nara Bhuwaneswari, Balakrishna, Jr NTR, Nara Brahmini, Kalyan Ram and other family members have paid floral tributes at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad Today. Whereas, Nara Lokesh paid tributes to NTR in Vijayawada and also inaugurated NTR Museum.

Harikrishna: 'In this country, We have many great people but NTR have got speciality of his own. With the reforms he implemented, He changed the direction of not only the state but also country. In 1985, NTR sent the Bill which recommends rightful share (50%) in property for women to Centre. This Bill got an approval after 25 Years. What can we say about NTR? We should work for achieving his goals'.

After garlanding NTR Statue at Rasoolpura Junction, Balakrishna launched Amar Jyothi rally which lasted till NTR Ghat. He recalled NTR's fight for self-respect of Telugus, services done for the welfare of poor & women. He told TDP would continue to mount pressure on Centre for Bharat Ratna honour to NTR.

Jr NTR opined his Grandfather earned a permanent place in the hearts of Telugus though he isn't here physically. He further added, 'The soul of NTR will keep roaming around Telugu People. We keep walking in the path shown by him and make use of the opportunity given to us'.

NTR breathed his last on January 18th, 1996. He passed away due to cardiac arrest in the wee hours at his home.
