Nandamuri Kalyanram's OM which is the first action 3D film in the country has been raising the eyebrows of many for the amount of budget poured into its making. The 3D effects alone costed the makers a whooping Rs 13 crores and the overall budget of the film has touched Rs 25 crore.
"Some say, long gap for actors between films is very dangerous and might ruin their careers. But, I am not afraid of such things as our family will have the support of Fans for ever," told Kalyanram.
Explain why he dared to make a 3D film on NTR Arts banner, the actor replied"We have seen many 3D film in Hollywood. I felt, why can't we make such kind of films here and that's how OM began".
Apparently, Kalyanram isn't having a market of Rs 25 crore to recover the investment and if the film fails to hit the right chord with the audience then nothing could save him as he will be incurring a loss to the tune of Rs 15 crore. Let's see if the 3D effects will save him or drown him!
