Nara Lokesh Arrested At Benz Circle

The police arrested the Nara Lokesh when he was moving towards National Highway to participate in the protest   

The police arrested former minister Nara Lokesh for participating in the National highway blockade in support of the Amaravati farmers. Along with Lokesh, police have detained several TDP leaders. Lokesh was taken to the police station along the Avenigadda-Vijayawada-Karakatta road.

TDP leaders and joint action committee leaders were taken into custody. Majority of the leaders were in house arrest in Guntur and Krishna districts, in the view of the call for national highway blockade. The police blocked the farmers at Chinankakani who are holding vanta varpu for two thousand farmers

The people of 29 villages have been protesting for weeks against AP CM Jagan’s idea of creating 3 state capitals. People are demanding Amaravathi to be the sole capital of the state.
