The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy which brought the Andhra Pradesh Disha Bill-Criminal Law (AP Amendment), Bill, 2019 has given two-wheelers for the police personnel, Disha Patrol.

However, Telugu Desam Party leader and national general secretary of the party Nara Lokesh found fault with the colour of the vehicles and alleged that the two-wheelers are adorned with colours that belong to the ruling YSRCP party.

He took to Twitter and raised objections with the colours and police who took the vehicles. In the tweets made in Telugu, Lokesh said the police personnel were given old vehicles by adorning colours.

He even said that the cops are showing over-enthusiasm and opined that the police personnel might change their uniform colour to YSRCP colours.

Adding further, Nara Lokesh said, the police personnel in the state should stop wasting their time in these activities and start focusing on providing safety for the women.

In another tweet, the former Minister alleged that CM Jagan has no time to respond to the incident of specially-abled Bhuvaneshwari who was found dead in her tri-cycle.

Talking about the incident of specially-abled women, the cops said that, in their investigation, it is found that the victim who was identified as Ummaneni Bhavani ended her life by committing suicide.
