The long awaited plan to link the Godavari with the Krishna for irrigation is finally becoming reality. Today Naidu is going to Pattiseema to switch on the first pump of his pet project of bringing the waters of the Godavari to the Krishna.
Megha Engineering Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) Pattiseema project developer managed to complete the first phase works in just 165 days. The Rs. 1,300-crore Pattiseema will be completed in a year. As per the reports the 24 pumps will be ready for operation by March 2016.
Meanwhile TDP leader Nara Lokesh posted a video which gives glimpse of Pattiseema
