Former Minister Nara Lokesh, who is expected to lead the grand old Telugu Desam Party in the coming days, had waged a legal fight against a few media outlets spreading false news against him. A case filed by him came for hearing today and he attended the same.

After the hearing, Nara Lokesh spoke to the media and said that a few media outlets are wantedly carrying out false propaganda against him and he filed the defamation case to teach them a lesson.

The case he filed against two media outlets traces back to a few years back. Back in 2019, when Telugu Desam Party was in power, two media outlets carried out a piece of news saying that as much as Rs 75 lakhs was spent on just snacks. He said that he was not even present in Vizag back then.

Mentioning the infamous Assembly incident, where objectionable comments were made against his mother, Nara Lokesh said that he will not spare anyone who made the comment and he will give a return gift for sure.

Adding further, Nara Lokesh said that, if wanted, they can also make objectionable comments on the leaders of the ruling party but they are not doing that and their values are stopping them from doing that.
