Narayana Murthy's son gets his marriage done in Bengaluru

Rohan Murty, son of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty, tied the knot with Aparna Krishnan in  Bengaluru, on Monday. The wedding was followed by a reception at the same hotel venue in the city.


While Rohan wore a simple kurta and black pants, Aparna was dressed in an elegant white lehenga with floral embroidery for the reception.


The couple, who met through common friends, knew each other for three years before they decided to take the big step. Co-founders Nandan Nilekani, Krish Gopalakrishnan, S.D. Shibulal and K. Dinesh attended the reception along with their spouses. Former Infosys directors T.V. Mohandas Pai and V. Balakrishnan, and its former chief financial officer M. Ranganath also attended the reception. Mumbai-based Carnatic vocalist Jayashree performed on the occasion.


Rohan, 36, married Lakshmi Venu in 2011 but divorced her in 2015. Lakshmi is the daughter of TVS Group Chairman Venu Srinivasan.


Thirty-six-year-old Rohan holds a PhD in computer science from Harvard University and is the founder of a company called Soroco. Aparna has been working at Soroco as Engagement Manager since April 2017.
