The schedule for the by-poll for the Narayankhed assembly constituency in Medak district has been released .As per the schedule the notification for the by-poll will be issued on January 20 and the nominations will be received till January 27 .The polling will be held on February 13 and the counting of votes would be held on February 16.
By-election was necessitated following the death of Congress MLA Patlolla Krishna Reddy popularly known as Kishta Reddy. He died on August 25 due to a massive heart attack while in sleep.Meanwhile Opposition parties are gearing up for the Narayanakhed assembly constituency by-election. The TRS, however, made it clear that it wants to contest the election and win the Narayankhed seat, which has been a Congress bastion for long time.
While both the Congress and TRS have already started their campaigns much before the bypoll announcement, the TDP is expected to hit the ground soon.
