Modi still the best to be Next PM: Survey

A recent Survey proved Narendra Modi is still the hot favorite to be India's Prime Minister if elections were held anytime soon.

India Today in collaboration with Karvy Insights conducted 'Mood of the Nation' poll. At least 50 percent of the respondents favored Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi obtained just 13 percent vote share. AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal occupied 3rd and 4th spots.

As of now, Anti-Incumbency isn't severe to dethrone Narendra Modi. BJP could still obtain full majority to form the government on its own. However, It will have to settle with 304 Lok Sabha seats against 336 in 2014.

Popularity ratings of Chief Ministers nationwide: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar jointly share the top spot with 14% votes each. Mamata Banerjee and Shivraj Singh Chouhan are at 3rd and 4th positions respectively.

Popularity ratings of Chief Ministers in their own state: Its Nitish Kumar who leads with a massive 87 percent votes. Telangana CM KCR, Mandhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chhattisgarh Raman Singh performed well.Arvind Kejriwal's popularity has certainly dropped in Delhi.
