Most Powerful Indians in 2016-17

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerges as the Most Powerful Indian once again. BJP Chief Amit Shah and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat occupy 2nd and 3rd Positions respectively. In fact, Leaders in the top three position remain unchanged  when compared to Indian Express's Power List 2015-16.

Chief Justice of India JS Khehar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani and UP CM Yogi Adityanath are at 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th spots respectively.

Sonia Gandhi slipped from 5th to 9th. Whereas, Rahul Gandhi moved from 9th to 10th.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar down to 13th Rank from 12th a year ago. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal moves to 33rd Spot from 8th Rank in 2015-16. Mayawati (30 to 50) and Lalu Prasad Yadav (26 to 42) too slipped.  

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is down to 48th from 44th Position last year. His Telangana counterpart reached 72nd Spot from 81st a year ago. While Venkaiah Naidu is at 21st Position, MIM Supremo Asaduddin Owaisi is at 58th Spot.
