Amid Coronavirus Outbreak, PM Modi Launches A New Campaign To Promote Appropriate Behaviour

India's total toll of Coronavirus infections pass surged 68-lakh mark and rose to 68,35,655, with as many as 78,524 patients getting infected with the respiratory disease in the past 24 hours.

Amid this, Narendra Modi said, the pandemic fight of the country is people-driven and the fight gets its strength from the COVID warriors and urged the citizens to unite to fight Coronavirus.

"India's COVID-19 fight is people-driven and gets great strength from our COVID warriors. Our collective efforts have helped saved many lives. We have to continue the momentum and protect our citizens from the virus. #Unite2FightCorona,"his Tweet read.

Ahead of the festival season, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a new campaign called Jan Andolan to create awareness of appropriate Covid-19 behaviour like wearing face masks and maintaining physical distancing.

According to the official statement issued by the Union Health Ministry, the campaign is designed in a way so that the message is reached to the public of all the states and Union-Territories.

"Let's unite to fight Corona! Always remember: Do wear a mask, keep your hands clean, follow social distancing, maintain 'two yards' distance from others," Narendra Modi tweeted while launching the campaign.

Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan and Kriti Sanon supported the awareness campaign and retweeted Modi's tweet and appealed to the fans to follow the required precautionary measures to fight the pandemic.

However, the details of other celebrities who will support the campaign in other languages are still unknown.
