With the border situation with Dragon country Chinese reaching an alarming level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for an all party meeting to discuss the border situation. The meeting will get commenced on Friday.
The Prime Minsiter's Office(PMO) took to twitter to confirm the all-party meeting news and stated that party Presidents of various political parties will be a part of this.
"In order to discuss the situation in the India-China border areas, Prime Minister @narendramodi has called for an all-party meeting at 5 PM on 19th June. Presidents of various political parties would take part in this virtual meeting," the tweet read.
The violent standoff between Chinese and Indian troops in the Sikkim and Ladakh sectors of the LAC resulted in casualties on both sides. While Indian troop suffered 20 casualties, China suffered 30 casualties.
PM Modi condoled the death of 20 Indian soldiers in Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh and said that the ultimate sacrifice made by them will not go in vain.
