Prime Minister Modi Shows Interest In Jagan's Yatra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of the cleverest politicians around. He has his finger on the pulse of the people. He is a keen observer of political developments in the country. No wonder, he is interested in what is happening in Andhra Pradesh too.

So, when Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ESL Narasimhan called him on the other day as part of his two-day visit to New Delhi, Narendra Modi reportedly asked him about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He is said to have asked even small details about the way the yatra was planned and executed and how the crowd turnout was. It is learnt that Modi evinced lot of interest in the historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which spanned 3465 km and 341 days. The yatra touched over 1.25 crore people of Andhra Pradesh and covered every district of the state.

Modi also reportedly discussed the politics in both Telangana and Andhra and enquired about the current political scenario. The Governor also explained to him the situation in the aftermath of the bifurcation of AP High Court. The Governor returned after the meet to Hyderabad.
