Director Neelakanta who won National Award for his directorial debut Show is always fascinated with new concepts and prefers to try things out of the box. His next project 'Maaya' is about a concept called 'Extra Sensory Perception' which wasn't attempted by any of the filmmakers till now.
'Maaya' is a woman-centric film and it's about the story of a girl who have power of seeing the future. A debutante will be playing the lead role in this experimental movie. MVK Reddy who earlier made films like Sneha Geetham and Its My Love Story would be producing it and director and Madhura Sreedhar will be presenting it.
We are fortunate to have filmmakers like Neelakanta who does unconventional films for giving a new experience to the audience. Supporting such products will give birth to many more new concepts and Tollywood could then compete with films made in other languages to bag few more National awards.
