Navy Moves out 2 Warships after alert on Terror Attack

Security has been beefed up in Kolkata port after a major alert issued by intelligence bureau.IB alerted security agencies saying that major terror attacks may be carried out in the port city and issued a threat by al-Qaeda in Kolkata.

The officials recalled the incident that happened in Mumbai few years back and warned the police that same may repeat again.According to IB sources, al-Qaeda operatives have already recceed Kolkata port. It has been suspected that the terror attack would be through the sea.

Following the warnings of IB Red alert has been issued at Kolkata port. The Indian navy also moved two warships INS Khukri and INS Sumitra  out of the port after receiving the alert and increased patrolling in the sea. The ships were supposed to be open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday.Kolkata government  also increased the security in city.Cost Guard and CISF police forced deployed in rush places.
