NCB Busted A Drug Racket In Mumbai, Tollywood Actress And Drug Peddler Detained!

Based on a piece of credible information, the Narcotics Control Bureau busted a drug racket in the financial capital Mumbai by raiding a hotel. Two people were arrested.

According to the information, the NCB sleuths raided a hotel located in the Mira road on Mumbai and seized 400 gm of Mephedrine (MD). During the arrest, the NCB sleuths are said to have arrested a Tollywood actress and a drug peddler.

It is also said that the Drug peddler was caught red-handed during the raid, while the main drug supplier is said to be absconding. The drug seized is said to be worth Rs 8-10 lakhs.

News Agency ANI in its tweet claimed that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths conducted raids in a hospital in Mira Road in Mumbai. In last night's operations, a Tollywood actress and Drug peddler Chand Mohammad were detained.

"Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained a Tollywood actress last night during a raid at a hotel in Mira Road, Mumbai. Drug peddler Chand Mohammad caught red-handed while drug supplier Saaed is still absconding. 400 gms MD worth Rs 8-10 lakhs seized in last night operations," ANI's tweet reads.

The alleged drug abuse in Bollywood got exposed with Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Since then the NCB has been digging deeper into the alleged usage of drugs by the actors.

Earlier, the NCB questioned, several actresses like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, Rhea Chakraborty, and Rakul Preet Singh.

After Bollywood, the NCB focused on Sandalwood. Kannada Film Industry in connection with drug abuse and consumption. A few actresses were also arrested by the drug law enforcement agency.
