The Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB0 has reciprocated what it told the court about the role of Aryan Khan in the alleged Mumbai Drugs Case that was busted earlier this month. The agency told the local court in Mumbai that Aryan Khan consumes drugs regularly, media reports claimed.
A sessions court in Mumbai which had adjourned the hearing of the bail petition filed by Aryan Khan to Thursday on Wednesday had heard the petition. Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh had appeared for the hearing on the behalf of the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).
As per the reports, he told the sessions court that Aryan Khan consumes drugs regularly for the last few years. He said that Arbaaz Merchant told the Investigation Officer that he and Aryan Khan were going to take the drug on the cruise where the rave party was busted.
Giving reasons why bail should not be granted for Aryan Khan in the case, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh told the court that young boys in the nation and getting affected by the drugs abuse, and hence the accused should not be given bail.
Saying that the investigation in the case is still in the preliminary stage, he placed his arguments that the bail should not be given. In this kind of cases, only circumstantial evidence will be available, and looking at them the bail cannot be granted, he told the court.
The Additional Solicitor General also told the court that in a case where close to 15 or 20 people are involved, the opinion of alleged conspiracy in the case is being discussed.
Countering the arguments, counsel Amit Desai who represented Aryan Khan told the court that all the allegations leveled against his client were nothing but false. He(Aryan Khan) has nothing to do with the case. No drugs were found with him, he said.
It has to be noted that Aryan Khan's lawyer had stressed the same point during the hearing on Wednesday. He said no drugs were found with Aryan and no evidence is there to prove Aryan Khan's role in the case. When there was no evidence, how can he be arrested, he said.
