Maheshwaram MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy has been in touch with TRS Leadership since few days to shift the party ahead of Lok Sabha Polls. Today morning, Revanth Reddy took the responsibility to convince Sabitha not to quit the Congress Party. Even Congress President Rahul Gandhi has spoken with the Former Minister over phone and assured her priority in the party. None f these preventive measures yielded results for the National Party.
Sabitha Indra Reddy took the call to join TRS with couple of days. She will be defecting to the Ruling Party along with her Son Karthik Reddy who is likely to be Chevella MP Candidate of TRS.
Actually, Chevella Sitting MP Konda Visweswar Reddy defected to Congress ahead of 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls with an assurance that he would be the MP Candidate for 2019 Elections. Sabitha Indra Reddy was upset because she want her son to contest from Chevella in Lok Sabha Polls. Karthik Reddy was denied even Rajendra Nagar Assembly Ticket in 2018 Assembly Polls citing seat sharing with TDP. All these factors prompted Sabitha to take a tough decision ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
