Nepal quake: News Channel works from a Tent!

Kantipur Television, a leading new channel based in Kathmandu, has been functioning from the a makeshift tent after its building got damaged due to earthquake which hit Nepal last week.  

The News Channel which is popularly known as KTV didn't shy away from its responsibility of reporting the news in its hour of distress. It is currently operational from its Master Control Room (MCR) and Outside Broadcasting van. The members of the channel work from the tents.

Dilbhushan Pathak who is the news chief comments, 'Its a crisis and its our responsibility to inform people about what's going on. The show must go on'.

Technicians were repairing the building which got damaged. Once the channel management receives report from the Technical Team, They will be taking a call on when to move next.
