"President Kovind unveils the portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Rashtrapati Bhavan to commemorate his 125th birth anniversary celebrations," his tweet reads.

However, the potrait of Netaji found itself in the middle of the controversy with several people including the opposition Congress party leaders claiming that the potrait is not of Netaji and it is of an actor.

The netizens claimed that the picture is not of Netaji, but a picture of Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee from the  film Gumnaami.

The TMC party led by Mamata Banerjee which has been projecting  themselves as the true fans of Netaji lashed out at the BJP party for unveiling the wrong portrait

However, the BJP hit back at the claims and said that the potrait is made by a renowned artist and it is not the picture of the Bengali actor

The BJP urged everyone to nit believe in such stories and said the potrait was made by famous painter Paresh Maity.
