As per the 60 year old declassified document of the Japanese Government, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose died in a place crash in Taiwan on August 18th, 1945.
Initially, The report was titled as 'Investigation on the cause of death and other matters of the late Subhas Chandra Bose'. After completion of the probe, It was submitted to the Indian embassy in Tokyo in January 1956. Since then, It remained as a classified document and Indian Government kept it as a secret.
Considering the 7-page report in Japanese and 10-page English translation, Subhas Chandra Bose met with an air crash soon after take off. The plane he was riding fell to the grounded from a height of 20 metros after one of the three petals broke and he was severely wounded. There were flames all over Netaji when he got off the plane and there were so many burn injuries. He passed away within 4 hours after he was taken to the Nanmon Branch of Taipei Army Hospital. He was cremated on August 22nd, 1945.
