Netizens Believe Electing Narendra Modi A Big Mistake, Demand His Resignation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been facing a severe backlash from the netizens since the pandemic has started to trouble India. The outrage of netizens against Modi is increasing day by day.
Putting the blame of mishandling the Coronavirus situation in the country on the Prime Minister of India, netizens now demand Narendra Modi resign.
The hashtag #ResignModi was in trending at number 1 in the country. From politicians to normal people, several people made tweets under the hashtag and supported the demand for Narendra Modi's resignation.
The netizens found fault with Narendra Modi and BJP leaders campaigning in West Bengal and other states for elections when the novel Coronavirus is creating havoc in the country.
Taking to microblogging site Twitter, everyone is listing out issues like lack of medical infrastructure and job loss and how people are finding it difficult to get beds at the hospitals for treatment.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee aka Didi has also joined the chorus and demanded Narendra Modi's resignation holding him responsible for the situations in the country.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said, Narendra Modi, has no planning, no administrative capabilities, and called him inefficiency. She even claimed that Modi didnât plan and he didn't even allow anyone to plan.
"For the skyrocketing COVID-19 cases, he must resign. He is the man who is responsible. No planning, no administrative capabilities, complete inefficiency. Neither did he plan ahead, nor did he allow anyone to do so, " she tweeted.
