With the deadline set for the striking TSRTC employees coming to an end, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given a massive shock to the transport corporation through another deadline.
Mamata Prasad, secretary, TTA, has served a notice on the RTC to pay up Rs 452.86 crore dues under the head of transport tax, and even asked the RTC to 'pay and clear the dues immediately.'
In addition to this, the Telangana High Court also asked RTC to pay Rs 200 crore to RTC workers credit cooperative society as the organization has utilized the amount for maintenance of buses and payment of salaries.
