The TV9-Ravi Prakash saga is proving to be a drama with huge twists and turns. A day after Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd announced that it has removed Ravi Prakash from the CEO post of the TV9, Ravi Prakash hit back with his own live broadcast from TV9 studios saying he is still the CEO of the organisation. He also âslammedâ the âsensationalismâ by a section of the media on the issue.
But, on Friday, the board of directors of the Associate Broadcasting Company have announced that they would address a press conference to announce the change of the management. This is an interesting turn. Most of the board of directors present at the press conference will take on Ravi Prakash. Even before this announcement, the new management has reportedly identified as many as 50 diehard supporters of Ravi Prakash and has asked them to resign. Also, a scanning of the editorial team is being done and one senior journalist, known to be close to Ravi Prakash, would be asked to work as the editor of the Telugu version. If the sources are to be believed, there would be not be anymore CEOs in the organisation. Incharges for each language would be appointed and they would report to the new management.
Interestingly, Ravi Prakash is not getting support from anywhere. None of the media houses backed him. No politician worth the salt in Telangana spoke in his favour. Though Chandrababu is with him, he is not coming out openly. So, Ravi Praksh is fighting with his back to the wall. Letâs see what new twists the episode will take.
