New Virus Train Fear: Maharashtra Government Imposes Night Curfew

The news of the mutation of the Coronavirus virus in the United Kingdom has ringed danger bells on the speared of the virus and how the pandemic is changing its form with time passing.

Amid this tough, Maharashtra Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met for a crucial meeting and decided to impose a night curfew in the state.

The night curfew will come into effect from the 22nd of December and will last till the 5th of January from 11 PM to 6 AM. Night curfew will be imposed in all the major cities.

The cabinet has also decided to make it compulsory to observe a quarantine period of not less than 14 days for the passengers who arrive from Europe and the Middle East.

In addition to that, passengers who land in the financial capital from the other countries will be sent to home-quarantine.

Vegetables, milk supply, and other services that fall under the category of essential services will not be shut during the curfew period so that people will not get affected.

The orders issued by the state government said, during the curfew period, only five people were allowed to assemble at a place in the state.

During the night curfew, all the shops have to be closed, except for the essential services. After 11 PM, non-essential travel will not be permitted.
