PM Delivers Baby Girl, Sets Record!

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has been blessed with a baby girl Today at a hospital in Auckland. She now became the first New Zealand PM to give birth to a child. The baby weighed 3.31 kg.

In the modern history, Only one Elected Leader has given birth while serving as Prime Minister until Yesterday. Pakistan's Benazir Bhutto was the first leader to do so. She had delivered baby girl while serving as PaK PM in 1990.

Jacinda Ardern broke the news on her Instagram page. 'So grateful for all the kindness and best wishes from so many people. Thank you,' she wrote while sharing a picture of herself with hubby and new born.

The 37-Year-Old PM is currently on a six weeks maternity leave. In her absence, Deputy PM Winston Peters will handle the responsibility. Jacinda will be back to work in August first week.
