The IPL 2020 has started in UAE making cricket fans glued to televisions. There are many players in IPL, who achieved some rare records so far. Kings XI Punjab Nicholas Pooran too achieved a bad record that no other batsmen wish to have it on their name.

Pooran became the first-ever player in the history of IPL to register two ducks in the same game. He was first castled by Ravichandran Ashwin when his team were chasing 158 in their opening game of the tournament. The match became tie with Mayank Agarwal's 89-run knock.

Later in the super over, Nicholas Pooran came out to bat with captain KL Rahul. But he failed and was castled again by Kagiso Rabada on the third ball of the super over.

The same match had witnessed a terrible umpiring error that on-field umpire Nitin Menon in the 19th over of Kings XI Punjab's run-chase declaring that Chris Jordan did not tap his bat past the crease. This erupted the controversy as the umpire's decision made a big impact on the result of the match.

Former India batsman Virender Sehwag said the umpire's call made the difference in the match and he should be 'Man of the Match'.

"I don't agree with the man of the match choice . The umpire who gave this short run should have been man of the match. Short Run nahin tha. And that was the difference. #DCvKXIP," tweeted Sehwag.
