Update: 2017-12-11 16:48 GMT
BJP Union Ministers continue to make controversial remarks one after the other despite facing backlash from the public. Unfortunately, Some of the Ministers in Modi Cabinet treat even wearing Jeans equal to committing a serious crime.

Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satyapal Singh declared no boy will be willing to marry a girl who arrives to the mandap in jeans. 'In the same way, No saint will be respected if he gives up his traditional attire and wears jeans,' he added.

Satyapal Singh made these comments while sharing the stage with UP CM Yogi Adityanath at the foundation day of Maharana Pratap Siksha Parishad (MPSP) in Gorakhpur. The remarks were made in the context of appropriate attire as per Indian Culture.

MPSP is the academic institute of Gorakhnath Temple. The Temple also operates Hospitals, Ayurvedic Treatment Centres and Blood Banks.
