No Chance for BJP @ Rajya Sabha

Update: 2016-05-18 05:29 GMT
In the wake of Centre denying Special Status, TDP Government mayn't dance to the tunes of NDA any more. It was already proven in the case of Rajya Sabha Polls.

After the meeting with Prime Minister, AP Chief Minister informed Media that Rajya Sabha elections hasn't been discussed by them.

On the other hand, Nirmala Seetharaman met Chandrababu Naidu in AP Bhavan Yesterday. Post this meeting, Naidu clarified there is no proposal from BJP seeking Rajya Sabha seat to its Leaders.

Sources say, BJP President Amit Shah is keen to use the services of Nirmala Seetharaman to the party. Modi might replace her with BJP Chief Secretary Ram Madhav in the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.

The tenure of 14 Rajya Sabha of BJP comes to an end soon. Out of which, 7 were currently serving as Union Ministers. Amit Shah and Modi are working out to decide from which state they should be nominated. A final call will be taken during the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting on May 19th.
